LONGAN HONEY

Longan honey is usually available all year round, but every March of the lunar calendar - full bloom is the time to harvest the most honey of the year.

• Features of longan honey:
  • Color: usually golden yellow, after a long time, it will turn dark yellow or the color of cockroach wings and some sugar may be deposited at the bottom of the bottle. However, this is a normal phenomenon, due to crystallization, it does not affect to honey quality.
  • Aroma: natural aroma of longan.
  • Dilution: The amount of water in honey is about 16%, so the honey is usually thick and fragrant.
  • Sweetness: Very sweet when first tasted and begins to sweeten after a few minutes.
  • Other features: honey has gas, so there will be gas production and bubbles.

• Notes:
  • Pure longan honey has a lot of gas, we should store it in a glass bottle, keep it in a cool place.
  • Do not refrigerate or get in the sun - too hot or too cold will degrade honey and reduce nutrients.
